Roomba 105 combo vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to get this and had high hopes. The set up out of the box is simple. You have to download the Roomba app. From there it runs you through set up. You then send it out to map your rooms. This was easy to do and it lets you edit the rooms by splitting or merging them. I have 3 kids and multiple cats and dogs. When it came to vacuuming it left quite a bit. I even put it on the highest suction. I went over my floors after with my regular vacuum. The Roomba did well getting around except for a couple spots where I have a small carpet. The edges kept getting pulled up and it would get stuck. It did not do well mopping. My floors looked about the same after. With the mop head on it also had trouble getting to the room I wanted to mop because it had to cross over carpet. I think this vacuum would be best for someone whose house is generally clean. The idea of it sounds amazing, to have a robot vacuum for me when I tell it to. You can also set up recurrent schedules. In reality at my house it’s difficult to do this because my kids throw their things on the floor so I basically need to be there to monitor it. The vacuum empties itself into the docking station. The docking station has a bag inside of it.

Wow! My house cleans itself

Absolute time saver

Definitely a bit of a splurge, but unlike older models, it’s able to easily navigate through my house and clean spots that get super dirty on a schedule. Love the self emptying feature, and the great part is it doesn’t have to be emptied often! The battery lasts the entirety of the 1000 square foot space I ask it to clean. It’s light and easy to pick up and add the water to for the mopping feature. It navigates ledges and entrances in an out of rooms. The map it created is fantastic. Definitely has improved my quality of life since getting this! Th e pictures are a before and after of a messy carpet which it cleaned with ease!

What an upgrade to a classic Roomba

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such an upgrade from a typical Roomba. This one includes mopping and dusting, and also has a base where it takes the dust. Connecting to the app, is super easy and it maps your house and then you can set it to clean specific areas on a regular basis. It was super fast to set up and really easy to use, and now I have it set to cleaning 3 days a week. It's also fairly quiet compared to a normal vacuum, which I really appreciate because it's less scary for my cat. I really don't know how I lived without this.

It easily mapped out my living room and now vacuums it up before going back to its base where it empties itself . I love this product

The combo is worth it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been through a number of robot vacuums both from roomba, and other brands, but still hadn’t tried the combo mop- mostly because of price. These are priced considerably better than when the combo vac first came out however and well worth it! They really do transition between mopping hardwood floors and going over carpet seamlessly. I have a lot of kids, who despite my pleas drop food inside and having to vacuum then mop all the time really slows me down. Especially with my old-fashioned teak-parquet floor which attracts and holds dirt easily. Very happy with this.

Pet hair vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the IRobot Roomba vacuum and mop! It’s super efficient, and my cat loves it too lol. It has excellent battery life and suction power, and it can remove all my cat hair from the floor and carpet. It has a decent filtration, and I love that it’s low maintenance! It performs very well!! I recommend it!

Convenient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a dog so I was excited to try this out, although a little worried about scaring her! At first she seemed anxious but as long as she didn’t get too close to it while it was moving, she was fine, and even seemed a bit entertained.
My husband set it up within minutes and said it was super easy to set up and pair with the app. To start, you gotta let it map out the areas that you want it to learn how to vacuum. When it started the actual vacuuming after mapping it out, it did get stuck on some loose cords so that’s definitely something to watch for. However, it did glide over floor transitions very easily. It was a little louder than I was expecting but nothing unmanageable. Overall, this is a very convenient little vacuum and will help manage the excessive dog hair. I vacuum at least 1-2 times a day, so maybe this will help lower that number. It takes some trial and error but once you get it figured out, it seems to work well. One last thing to watch out for though, is if you decide to change the location of the base then it’ll need to reconfigure its mapping or else it gets lost trying to re-dock.
