easily accomodated all my knives including a 10" chef's knife & a wide sudoku.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful natural finished wood with nice grain. Slots are perfect for my Henckesl knife set that I love. I gave away the knife block that came with the set years ago because of minimal counter space. Moved to a house with ample counters and this block is perfect!
