Good sharp knives

Well after getting these knives, I realized I had been using terrible knives my whole life! I am a mom and I love to cook but never made the investment. The chef knife is the one I use the most. It feels so nice in my hand and it's incredibly sharp. The serrated knife is perfect for tomatoes or rolls; and the sanoku is so sharp, it makes chopping a small onion or celery a piece of cake. All I have to do is remember to use the honing steel every once in a while.

This Pro S block set features the best of the best classic German knives. 3 Rivet handle, full tang, German stainless steel that has been ice hardened and hand sharpened.

These heirloom knives

These are knives that will literally be passed from generation to generation. Made in Germany from specially formulated steel they are corrosion resistant and will retain their sharp edge longer. Forged from a single piece of steel you can really feel the weight and balance that goes into these. The tang runs all the way through to the end of the handle so you know it is never going to break even during the toughest cutting jobs.

Really good value for high quality knives

Professional S is terrific line of knives. They feature a traditional straight bolster and a slightly smaller handle. As a result they are a little lighter than the new Pro line. I have owned one of these knives for years (more than 10). It has performed year in and year out, and I cook a lot. I sharpen it maybe twice a year. I always hand-wash all my knives, even though they are dishwasher safe; that's probably why mine looks almost new.
This set covers the basics. It will meet every need for all your meals. The nice thing is there are more knives in this line when you decide to get into more creative stuff.

Solid set of Kitchen knives! I love the weight of these knives and they have that traditional look that makes you feel like a pro. I love having a new tomato knife now, my old one was searing down on the blade and they cant be sharpened. The 5 " santoku is my new favorite chopping knife! It cleanly cuts veggies and feels really solid in your hands the flat cutting edge on the blade makes chopping so much more efficient. The block is made of really nice birchwood and adds a beautiful look to my counter top.

A real "Professional"

This set of knives is so great! I love that it comes with a smaller santoku knife than other sets I've seen because I feel more comfortable using the smaller knife. The handle on these knives are so sturdy and the weight makes it really easy to cut through anything!

Still hard to beat...this Professional "S" set has greatest balance,fully forged, no-stain steel and the lifetime warranty to boot... Nice 5" Baby Santoku brings a little "new" world in it, too
