Great block set

The Zwilling Pro “S” is a great traditional German knife collection. I like that it has a full bolster to protect my fingers from the blade. The high carbon stainless steel won’t tarnish over time and it’s constructed to be an extremely durable and sharp knife that will last for a long time. It’s a great essential assortment of knives in this set.

This was our first set of knives and we are still very happy with them I think these were the first knives Zwilling ever made. We loved the fordged blade. It adds to the weight and balance. The knives included meet all out needs. We haven't wished for another blade style.

Cut like a pro with this essential knife block. Get all the knives you need in this block with plenty of space to add to it! The knife handles are comfortable and the traditional full bolster allows for a controlled and balanced grip.

My wife and I purchased our Professional S block in 1993 while stationed in Germany. These knives have made many moves over the years and have been used in just about every meal prep for all these years. There is not one blade out of the set with a single stain. The blades are super sharp and easily kept that way. Our set literally looks brand new! We've added a couple Professional S knives to our block over the years and never considered any other knife for our kitchen. We give these sets as wedding gifts now, knowing the longevity and value of the Professional S is superb.

Have had the knives for a month and am very happy with them. The balance is great and allows me to do more with my hands getting tired. Am following the instructions to use the steel frequently and so far they are holding their edge very well. Hope they hold up for a long time. As long as this review does NOT get me on a mailing list or subject to spam the review will hold. Also I only answer questions once.

I bought these knives 2 months ago and we love them. I didn't realize I was using dull knives until I used these. Excellent quality and beautiful to look at. I just wish I had purchased the set came with more knives. Will have to fill in later.

I received this as a Christmas gift from my wife in 2015. I am definitely not a Chef or a Knife expert, but I will tell you this, I have never had such an amazing set of knives. Im in my 50's and never bought any nice Knives and wow what a enlightening experience to have such and awesome set of tools for the kitchen.
These are like cutting lasers they make any task easy and fun. I have since Christmas bought my meat in bulk and cut my own Prime Rib and Filet Mignon saving a bundle and having the Joy of being my own butcher. When Preparing Dishes and various cooking tasks I eagerly ask my wife to let me do it so I can use the Zwilling's :-)
Cook year round on the grill now even when there is snow on the porch. It could be Steak, Salmon, Chicken, Pork, you name it I am going to cut it up with my wonderful knives
They are as shop today as the day I received them, I use the sharpener every now and then to keep the edge. I wash them immediately and treat them like fine china and dry them right off and return them to the wonderful block which has room for more of these wonderful tools :-)
Next purchase or hopefully Christmas gift is top of the line German Made Steak Knives from Zwilling
