Bought this knife block to replace a 30-year old set of ours. The knives have a delightful heft and the edges are amazingly sharp. Also, the block has a few extra slots for knives of your choice. (We went with an additional, small serrated knife, plus a Santoku knife.)
Would absolutely purchase again.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Highest quality knives I have ever had in my kitchen. So precise you could carve/sculpt a grape! Handles and knife block are ergonomic and beautifully crafted.
