This is a great way to store/display some of your knives. Magnets are very strong and it works and looks great. It doesn't hold a large qty of knives so I also have a block as well and the color matches nice.

If you are looking for an unique easel that stands out and adds some modern aesthetic to your kitchen, this is a great block for you. The beautiful natural beechwood looks great with any knife and is a nice and durable wood. Not only does it hold 8 knives, but it is a work of art as well. This looks stunning on my counter, but has a purpose. It is made in Italy with sustainably sourced wood and crafted by artisans. It is a conversation piece and a joy to look at

I ordered this block because I wanted a lighter wood color and a different way to display my knives on the counter - this hit the mark. Its made from beech wood so lighter in color is refreshing. Looks so cool on the counter!
