I had a set of these knives for about 18 years. Finally one by one they fell on the floor and pieces of the handle broke off. So, I decided to buy new ones. And as is typical of most things these days, they are of lower quality. The knife itself works well but they are not as sturdy a steel, slighty serrated so you can't sharpen them, and the handles have an unfinished quality to them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We've had the same set of steak knives for many years. We bought the same set to replace the old one because several of the knives had been damaged by misuse. The new set is just as great as the old one. Affordable quality cutlery from ZWILLING.
