a rooster on every pot

So many dutch ovens are round. I really like the oval design on this one. The black matte interior gives great browning and the braising spikes on the lid keep my food moist. I like doing a whole chicken in here but even more i like to do a nice long braise in pieces. The rooster knob is available seperatly but comes with this model......bonus. The enamel coating is super attractive and is so much easier to clean than regular cast iron.

Versatile Pot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always wanted a Cocotte or Dutch Oven for braising, soups, stews, curries and bread, and after hours of research, I decided on this product. When it arrived I was not disappointed. The colour is absolutely beautiful and I could not wait to start using it. The heat retention and distribution is wonderful and my recipe came out tasting wonderful. The cocotte cleaned very easily too. Looking forward to many more recipes to try!
