Can't tighten them up.

Purchased these to replace the shears that came with a 7 year old Henckel knife set. The original shears had a phillips screw under the red cap that could be tightened; or completely removed to sharpen the edges. These 'new' shears have a rivet holding them together so they can't be serviced or adjusted. After a few months of little usage, the rivet loosened up and the shears will no longer cut; In the process of sending them back to NY for warranty claim.....junk.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sharp,Affordable Shears

Cuts through most everything easily. Fits nicely in block and even has a bottle-opener built in.

They wont pull apart, they're comfortable.
I have two. one for food use and one for other uses. I find them to be a perfect go to shear!!

Superior Shears

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shears cut all vegetables, fruits and meats, even the tougher meats cuts right through with ease. There was no stopping to have to pull back and start again to cut, one time cut was effortless and did the job. This year I am growing herbs and the precision smooth cut with these shears was /is beautiful, no tugging or pulling or tearing. These shears are also comfortable to work/use with my arthritic hands. I am going to purchase another pair. Excellent product and workmanship. Highly recommend these kitchen shears.
