[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shears are well built and functional beautifully. They're not the same quality as the shears from the professional s collection, but they're also much less expensive. Not a thing wrong with these scissors and great value.

Can't tighten them up.

Purchased these to replace the shears that came with a 7 year old Henckel knife set. The original shears had a phillips screw under the red cap that could be tightened; or completely removed to sharpen the edges. These 'new' shears have a rivet holding them together so they can't be serviced or adjusted. After a few months of little usage, the rivet loosened up and the shears will no longer cut; In the process of sending them back to NY for warranty claim.....junk.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was surprised at how affordable these shears are, especially since they are made in Japan, where some of the best knives are produced.
The shears are incredibly sharp, and stay sharp even after cutting through hard cardboard.
Use these shears throughout the house and never disappoints.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love a sharp pair of scissors and ive found them here. These are definitely staying in the kitchen and not the wrapping room. I also love being able to use them as a bottle opener when my regular one goes "missing" from time to time.

You will find yourself using these sharp shears several times a day. They are a great go to everyday kitchen or household shear. I love that you can also use them as a bottle opener. They are super easy to clean and maintain.
