Astley 65 piece set is sturdy & beautiful

Sturdy & nice set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this set online, which concerned me because I couldn’t check the weight of the pieces. I hate using cheap bendable utensils. But these feel solid and take a lot of pressure to bend them even a little. I’m happy with them, especially for the price compared to much more expensive sets I looked at online.
I can’t speak to long-term use yet. This set was purchased for a vacation rental we’re setting up. I’ll try to provide an update after they have been used awhile.
I tried to show the thickness and size of the fork in the photos. The utensils are on the larger side. (I have large hands for a woman.)

New flatware

Have been using mismatched set for decades so finally decided to be a real "grown-up" and purchase a complete set. I'm picky though, returned a previous set because I didn't like the size or way that they felt in my hand. Decided to go for 18/10 flatware and found this beautiful pattern. It's absolutely beautiful and love the size and weight of these utensils.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I searched for days and nights online fir the perfect stainless at the perfect price. Initially I was hoping to just complete my Oneida Louisiana stainless I’d gotten when we were married 40 years ago, but the cost of the lost pieces was pretty high! Higher than buying a brand new set of a different pattern. I’m older and picky and wanted high quality at a very reasonable price and at least 8 settings. Almost everything I liked was sold out or too expensive. Then I noticed several reviews of a certain J.A. Henckels International pattern that sounded like what I was looking for. I searched all the J.A. Henckels’ patterns and found “Astley.” Classic looks, 18/10 stainless in both 8 settings and 12 settings and a very reasonable price pre-Christmas sales. I was thrilled and quickly purchased a 12 piece setting-large enough for all the children and grandchildren. I was a little disappointed it wouldn’t be delivered before Christmas, but a Christmas miracle occur when it arrived two days before Christmas! It was packaged impeccably and is just as beautiful and classic as it looked online. Thank you, J.A. Henckels! You are now my go to Silver and stainless manufacturer!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoy how the utensils look. They do feel a bit narrow when you are holding them. Although, the handle is thin, they feel well balanced. We have only used them a few times and as of now we are very happy with our purchase
