[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been shopping for a new flatware set for a long time. I have purchased several sets but the list of dos and don'ts in the care was outrageous. I was so happy when I received this set. It is so beautiful and the first set that actually says it is dishwasher safe. Other sets strongly suggest hand washing or taking the flatware out of the dishwasher at the start of the drying cycle and hand drying. I also liked reading reviews that said this was purchased years ago and, when adding another set now, the look, size, weight and quality were the same. That did not hold true for other manufacturers. I hope to have and use this set for many years to come.
