High sided 11-inch skillet. So many uses!

This is an awesome pan. I've tested it and love both the size and the sides. The 11-inches i enough for a family of four (or a two with left overs). It can be used as a skillet - great for bacon, eggs, pancakes and potatoes any time. Also the higher sides, make it great for small batches of fried chicken, doughnuts.
But my personal favorite is the baking possibilities! Tarte Tatin? Perfect! Corn bread and soda bread look professionally made. Crisps, crumbles and cobblers bubble and brown to deliciousness. Skillet brownie? chocolate chip cookie? banana bread? Yup.
Like all Staub products the enamel coating on the interior cleans up easily. And the beautiful exterior enamel makes for a lovely presentation at the table.

Great skillet LOVE it

I purchased the grenadine 11" skillet on May 1st and I received it on May 17th. I've already cooked on it. The first thing I made in the skillet was an over-easy egg, the skillet works great as expected. I used the same amount of oil, I would use for my Lodge and Le Creuset, which is minimal oil. the egg came out beautiful. My Le Creuset is my least favorite skillet. The Staub skillet will be my go-to...money worth well spent.

We have slowly been collecting Staub cookware, and this deep skillet was our most recent addition. The size is perfect. It's deep enough that you don't have to worry about food spilling over. All Staub products are incredibly well-made heirloom pieces. The grenadine color is the one we've been collecting. The color is absolutely gorgeous- rich and deep and it has a lovely shine. I highly recommend this deep skillet!

This skillet is a little bit saute and a little bit fry! I ordered this pan because of the high sides and wide cooking surface. Interior has Staub's famous black matte finish so heat distribution is excellent. And this pan can sear like no other. I have also used it to make perfect dutch baby pancakes.
