In checking through Weber web site, I located this kit. It came as promised within 3 -5 business days. Instructions are mostly pictures but very detailed. With the pictures of each step and some viewing of You Tube vids, I went through the disconnect of the old malfunctioning kit and the install of the new kit without a hitch. Worked first time, every time since. I am not really good with household tasks but my wife referred to me as "Handy Andy" after I completed this install.

Definitely a more advanced repair. Step-by-step instructions are included with the new igniter kit. Oh you really needed was a screwdriver, but you do have to disassemble the whole front of the grill to install the new unit. If you’re handy, not difficult at all, but takes a little time.

Everyone dreads when their grill stops working normally. The familiar "tap-tap-tap" of the electric ignition quit on me after 8 years. After changing the battery didn't work, I went online to see what the next step was that I needed to take to resolve the issue. I saved my original owner manual and searched for the most likely part online. Then I went to YouTube and looked up Weber Genesis grill ignition module to see if anyone made a video about how to replace this part. I must be super lucky because I did find one video and after following the presenter's instructions, my grill was as good as new!! The YouTube channel is called "Hilltown" and I highly recommend it!
