One of my favorite features is the retractable cord for easy storage. I will recommend to my family and my friends

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am absolutely LOVING this rice cooker. It cook rice perfectly, so fluffy. No slightly overcooked rice on the bottom, no over or under cooked rice. The timer function is great for steel cut oatmeal in the mornings or rice to come home to in the evenings. Operating is super easy, the manual is very helpful when figuring out how to use thus product, and cleaning up is even easier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Zojirushi - Micom Rice Cooker & Warmer is a time saver and makes the perfect rice and steamed vegetables. A recipe book gives you great ideas for different items you can make. This is lightweight and easy to move places on the counter and I love that it comes with a retractable cord. We are trying to eat healthier and what better way than to eat steamed foods instead of fried ones? You can let your imagination go wild with this cooker and create your own masterpieces! This comes with a steaming basket, rice measuring cup, nonstick rice spatula & spatula holder so you can cook several things at once and easily. I love this cooker and can't wait to see what else we can make!

I love the variety of rice that I can cook in this pot such as long grain, white rice for sushi, quinoa among others. The duration time depends on what you are going to cook but they are all from 1 hour onwards which I love because I feel calm knowing that it will be cooked well enough. In general it is very easy to understand and use. The package includes its measuring cup and its scoop which is quite thick, looks and feels strong and resistant. The cable has a very practical collection system which is very satisfactory since there are no unwanted loose cables. The cooking pot has a good capacity for up to 8 people. It has a very nice design, I love it and I highly recommend it since the rice does not stick and it is really delicious.

I also love that it has a cute little chime that plays when you start it and when it's done. I have used it a few times for rice and it cooks it perfectly everytime. Definitely recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've seen these things everywhere but I never thought I'd use one. I'm a chef so I'm constantly cooking and that means no cutting corners. When I finally decided to try this machine I thought there's no way this thing can make rice as well as I can. Boy was I wrong! This thing is amazing! It's so easy to use too. Just pour in the ingredients and press the buttons then walk away. It gives me the freedom to attend to other dishes in my kitchen while my rice basically prepares itself! Plus, it's really easy to clean. Everything comes apart so there's no struggle to clean up. I really like this rice cooker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never been a mast of cooking rice, couscous, or steaming vegetables to be honest. They always end up over or undercooked. This rice cooker and warmer was my last ditch effort and I am happy to say that it exceeded all of my expectations. I really do appreciate the EXTENSIVE manual that comes along with it, it also houses a few recipes as well. What I love most is the "set it and forget it" aspect of the cooker as it adjusts as it cooks so nothing will be undercooked or overcooked. My counter space is limited so I love that it's small enough to put on my bakers rack without having to worry about it getting in the way. I also love that the cord is retractable so there's no fighting with it. When I heard the "song" on initial start up I was concerned that I would not hear it on finish, however with Tv at volume 35 I heard it once it finished. As with most things to keep the longevity of the pots and the steamer, only plastic utensils shouldbe used when removing/scooping food and also should be washed soon after use with a soft cloth

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Micom Rice Cooker and Warmer. I have never owned or tried a rice cooker before so I was excited to try this out. We usually only buy the easy microwaveable white rice but enjoy Asian food, especially sticky rice. This cooker holds up to 5.5 cups of rice, quinoa, or steel cut oatmeal. It has different settings where you can cook different types of grains with just the touch of a button. I also love how the design is compact and sleek- I can just leave it on my kitchen counter and the cord is retractable. It also comes with a measuring cup, rice paddle and holder. It’s also extremely easy to clean. The first day I got it, I was able to make the perfect sticky rice in just under 30 minutes. The second time I went to make rice the same way as I did the first, it didn’t come out quite as right, it seemed to have left a lot of the liquid. The third time I used it the same way I ended up getting an error code saying the lid was too hot and had to cool down. For reference- if you get an error code you can use the manual to look up what it means. This rice cooker not only cooks different types of grains but it will also steam vegetables and it does that job quite well. Overall, I think this is a great product that’s easy to use. I have ran into a couple of problems with cooking in it but I think maybe it’s just some quirks I have to work out.

It's so great to hear that you are enjoying your first rice cooker! This is a great model to start with. Usually the rice cooker will take about 40 minutes to cook white rice since it soaks, cooks, and steams it. At the end the rice should not have any liquid let over. If you are using STEAM setting to cook rice then it will not cook it very well. The rice cooker needs to cool down between cooking batches and cannot cook consecutively.
