Wont close and wont protect phone

i have this cover for my s20 plus. it looks good but wont close properly and will not protect the phone from cracking. i accidentally dropped my phone and got a cracked screen.

Mostly very nice case

It's very well made, well textured and easy to use. The only thing keeping me from rating it a 5 is the lack of magnetic closing or even some sort of physical snap to keep it closed. As is, the cover just flops off limply from gravity because there's nothing holding it closed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The case is plastic. The cover does not have a latch or magnets to keep it closed, so it can open when you do not want it opened. the case appears that it will not protect the phone, if the phone is dropped.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cut a little off for the music in the display screen. It’s great that you can switch between the music controls and notifications without opening. Only issue I have is that if you pause the music from the display window and don’t start it back before the display goes dark, you’ll need to open the case to start playing again. I think the controls should still be there when you hit the power button. But don’t let that stop you from buying one. This is probably the best phone cover I’ve ever had.

I bought 2 of these for both our phones. Great look and the grey has a nice feel to the cover so doesn't feel like I will drop it easily.

Great case, love the S-View screen

Love using the case when out in about in public, but if wanting to take a photo kinda annoying having to hold the case or take it out cause the S-View is covering the flash. Camera works fine through the S-View but missing that flash if the photo is to dark.

the phone is cool. there is something wrong with the telescopic camera. it will not focus even at a short distance. it did originally, focus. camera lens cracks way too easily. i just found it broken one day not dropped or anything. the processor works well. i like the ram, haven't used 5g yet.
