I bought a new one for my new place. I had one in college that lasted me 4 years (now at my parents house). Very well built and I have never had a problem.

Great Option For Less Waste!

I had moved from New York City (where I always only drank tap water) to New Jersey (where tap water is unsafe for drinking), and I absolutely refused the idea of having to purchase water bottles in bulk- couldn't imagine the amount of plastic waste as I already drink about 2-3 liters of water everyday. I knew it was either I get a water filter for the tap, or a water dispenser such as this. It's been 2 months and I absolutely love the dispenser! The hot water is honestly an added bonus as I no longer have to heat water for my tea. It's a win-win-win! I get to drink cold and clean water, basically have hot tea on tap, AND avoid much plastic waste!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works very well. It is a little noisier than the prior unit we had and taller, making it harder to replace the water bottle. Good appearance.
