It looks like a simple tracker, but it's more of a finder. It has great features that work well and I like the Roam's eco-friendly design.

Just works, no need for any accessories

The pros of this tracker is the fact that you can carry/attach it without needing to buy any case/cover etc, so the price is just that of the tracker itself, no hidden costs!
Swappable battery is a must to me, and not many other products have this feature.
The only cons i can possibly think of is the thickness, but again, most of that is due to the embedded latching capability.

Good product, but the beeps are annoying

I generally like the roam tracker. It looks and feels exactly as expected. For some reason, mine are beeping from time to time. Both. Randomly when I start moving with them. The FAQ say it's a feature. I'd say it's a bug.Nevertheless, so far I'm overtall satisfied.

We understand that the beeping feature can be a bit surprising at first. And, I’m sorry for the frustration this has caused. The beeping you’re noticing isn’t a fault with the tracker — it’s part of the built-in safety system from Apple and Google to prevent misuse (e.g. someone secretly placing a tracker on another person). At the moment, this feature can’t be disabled as it’s controlled by Apple/Google. The good news is it doesn’t affect tracking or normal use — it’s just the safety alert system at work.

Doesn't show the precise location on the motorway, doesn’t track the vehicle in motion.
Complete waste of money and they are making you buy two! Avoid.

Happy with the purchase!

Was very pleased with 2 trackers I've got from the Kickstarter campaign and, as I needed more, it was no brainer to got Roam again.
For me the biggest pro is that it doesn't need an extra carrier/cover to attach to my dogs harnesses directly. Somehow we keep loosing nametags a qr-code tags that dangle from their collars, but now I finally have some reassurance.
Successfully use it for other stuff too. Hope it's going to work successfully for many years to come.

It's a shame the tracker often starts beeping on its own.
One of the trackers I received has poorly printed QR code, but I did not intend to use that.

Build quality is there but...

So far I've not been able to connect with my phone. Done all the updates, un-installed, re-installed, tried again.
For now they're just sitting in a drawer. Maybe I'll give it another go in a month or so or when I get a new phone. (Even though my current one is a current model)
Wouldn't buy again. Good concept, good build quality, but doesn't work for me.
