All around terrible phone

I got this iPhone Air in sky blue, 256gb. Thought that I was getting a great phone because I was looking for something light weight and that fit better in the pockets of my scrubs for work. Boy was I wrong. I’ve had this phone for a few months now and can accurately say that it has the worst speaker and microphone during calls I have ever had. It’s so muffled on both ends of the line and we can never hear one another when I make calls. I would honestly rather have an old flip phone at this point. The battery life is horrendous, sometimes I’m charging multiple times a day and I have the appropriate settings set up to prevent this. My fiancé works in IT and also agrees that we made TERRIBLE choices by picking this phone. I loved it at first but the longer I have it the more I have buyers remorse. My 15 pro max was significantly better than this and I’m now stuck waiting to trade this awful thing in and get something better. Don’t waste your time, effort, or money on this and I’m astonished that Apple even sells this phone with how terrible it is.
This phone is hot garbage. It cannot play music while using the GPS, it stutters both the music & GPS...awesome. It overheats often and totally freezes other times. It is not powerful enough to use the bloated & awful iOS apple crams full of ai slop and bloat. stay away from this phone at all costs.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are sorry to hear about these performance and overheating issues with your new device. We want your phone to handle navigation and music smoothly without freezing up. You can follow these quick troubleshooting steps:
Restart the device to clear temporary system glitches. Update your iOS software and apps to ensure compatibility. Turn off Background App Refresh in settings to reduce processor strain. Remove any thick cases while using GPS to help the phone cool down.

The price for the phone is still too expensive, especially now they’re working on coming out with another design phone of an iPhone kind of wish they would do iPhones every 2 to 3 years to give people the chance to wait to give the developers a chance to actually put hard work and labor into making that phone, correct

Really love the Air. Switched from 16 Pro. Same battery life but the 16 Pro wasn’t all that stelar either I enjoy this phone so much. It’s so light like it is not even in my pocket. I can’t say it is the most durable as I cracked the screen within the first week and it’s supposed to be strong. Still…no regrets. I highly recommend.
Hands down the worst phone I have ever owned. Yes its light weight but that is the only thing this phone has going for it. The battery life is horrible, camera is sucks, one speaker so don't think about playing music without a BT speaker. I would get rid of this phone today if I could. This phone is so bad, I may never buy another Apple device. I can't believe Apple allowed this abomination to go to market.
Short battery life / light weight but you have to charge it twice a day

We are incredibly sorry to hear that you are having an awful experience with the audio quality and power performance on your new iPhone Air. It is completely understandable to feel frustrated when a premium device fails to deliver clear speaker output or a lasting charge throughout your day. Before looking into an exchange or repair, we would love to offer some basic troubleshooting that might resolve these concerns right away.
For the speaker performance: • Ensure that your device software is fully updated to the latest version. • Verify that there is no lint, dust, or plastic protective film blocking the lower speaker grilles.
For the battery performance: • Navigate to your settings to check background app activity and see which applications are consuming the most power. • Toggle on Low Power Mode to help extend your daily usage.
