Ordered these and Hope they would be better than the first. I don't see any difference between the first gen and the second gen. Colors are still off, the angle is the problem. I have suggested it multiple times that you guys need to create a wireless camera that can sit across the room that sinks to these. Or even something that sits on your entertainment stand aimed up at the TV. The cameras are very low resolution and they're just aimed weird. Hopefully another generation they get better.

Fantastic product.
Takes time to adjust settings for perfect tv viewing. I had to adjusts my settings on the tv as well as the Govee app. I would have liked the LEDs lights about 5-6 inches longer on the bottom to fit my Sony Bravia 65 Tv perfectly. I find the bottom corners a tad dark.

Can’t work at bottom of TV

I have the T1 and would have upgraded to the T2 but as it can’t be fixed to the bottom of the TV I won’t be spending my money! Govee, please make it possible via the software at least so people can attach it below the TV if they wish!

I was able to play with the saturation i brought it down to 8% and the colors are much, much better also played with the white balance I have mines between 2nd and 3rd dot.

Great addition to Home Entertainment

I had been researching several solutions for background lights for TVs and I did not like that the ones that include a box to hook your HDMI to could not support built in apps nor protected content. I have an 86" Sony TV and the T2 works well with it! so it works for TVs slightly outside the range. I am sure if you positioned the camera further away you can do larger screens as well. Do the calibration while the room is dark so background light does not affect color accuracy. I only calibrated it once and got it working great but I know I can fine tune it a little more. I am hoping to test out dreamview soon because that looked cool(syncing multiple Govee products to music and movies) ! Only thing I will ask is if you could you please add support to bottom mount the camera so we don't have to do the workaround?
