Lights could be a bit brighter. Overall like it. If you have a dark wall, they don't work great. You need a light surface for the light to reflect off of.

It's solid, it looks great! The 2 things that I wish functioned better are 1) the music settings are a bit chaotic and 2) the alarm light uses the mode it was on the last time I used it, so if I was watching TV and had it on the TV mode, the next morning when it wakes up, it is on TV mode and doesn't do much since the TV is off.

This is my 5th Govee product. If I could do it all over again I wouldn't choose any other brand for my lighting products. The setup, ease of use, and quality of this backlight is top notch. They give you everything you need to make your space epic. I just recently bought a 77" OLED tv and this is the icing on the cake. The cherry on top. The bees knees if you will. It takes an already amazing viewing experience and just pushes it to 11. I have plans in the future to outfit the rest of the house with other Govee products. If you are wondering which brand to buy, go with Govee.

Great product! but lack of local control ruins it.

Setup was super easy, though the camera might need a lil help with a 100" TV.
Color response and colors are amazing - makes watching anything so immersive and greate.
Cloud control is trash. Nothing like submitting a request to have it turn on, then waiting 1-4 minutes for it to turn on. Other govee products have local network control...huge miss that this is cloud dependent.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
