The T2 immersion lights are a solid edition to the overall aesthetics of our entertainment system. The only drawback thus far, would be during the setup and calibration. Getting the camera to see all of the orange blocks was a PITA. I ended up using a YouTube visual to adjust it (although I still think it could be better). Also, a minor issue would be explaining how to better calibrate the white balance on the app. It doesn't give you a solid direction or instructions on getting the best quality with your individual TV.

T2 needs major updates

I started out with the original immersion and got really good at getting natural skin tones etc not talking about test patterns/animations but with T2 natural movies/tv shows are so off no matter how much you adjust saturation/white balance. First thing after installing T2 I got an update thinking great new device new update but removing relative brightness was disappointing. I hope that this will all be addressed in future updates or I will not be adding anymore Govee products to my home and I even have them on my golf cart, 6 products on total.. All the social media influencers use test patterns because you can get those accurate.

Very pleased with the T2, with some caveats

Despite the less than ideal setup (my TV does not have a flat back), I am pretty amazed by how much dynamic visual appeal the T2 backlight added. After calibration, the responsiveness was very good. Color accuracy was an issue, particularly for the bottom edge; however I am not surprised as that is a pretty shallow angle for the camera to pick up that edge. It would also be nice if Govee would include more of the clips for those people not wanting to use the adhesive backing. All in all, very satisfied.
