I decided to get a Waterpik after my hygienist said the pockets beside my teeth were deepening and retaining food particles. This is my first Waterpik. It takes getting used to but I like it. I add just a little mouthwash to the water. My mouth feels clean and fresh after using my Waterpik. The unit sounds like a big air compressor but I really like the power it put into the pulses.
The hinged top that opens to store accessories probably looked like a good idea on paper.
In practice every time you take off the water tank cover to fill the machine you risk the lid opening and the accessories falling out. I’m not using the storage compartment now, it’s a flawed design.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This Water Pic was a replacement for an older model. This model has an on/off switch on the handle which we like. It does a great job for cleaning small food particles from my teeth.

Keeping your gums free from any infection is so critical to overall brain health and heart health. I fill with, 90% water and, 10% hydrogen peroxide. I am told the oxygen in the hydrogen peroxide kills bacteria. I am told this reduces inflammation from gum infections which reduces ameloid plaque buildup associated with the brain's response to inflamation and, Alzheimer's disease. Take care of your dental health. It has much more than having to do with your teeth. Best purchase anyone can make to support best health practices. My opinion. I am not a medical professional. I'm a great dental patient. I listen. I trust.
