I'm a first-time buyer of Waterpic and I think its prremise of deep cleaning is good, however it is extremly loud and I've tried most of the attachments but find even though I've thoroughly cleaned my teeth, I still have to use a brush to clean the surface of my teeth. I don't know if this is normal but seems a waste of time and $$ to have to keep brushing!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have been using Waterpiks for many years and will keep buying them when they cease to function.
I love my new waterpik WP-100 It makes my mouth and teeth feel so clean and fresh. My only complaint is that is it very noisy. I am afraid to use it late at night for fear it may wake everyone up! But, other than the noise level, it is a great investment in your overall teeth/gums and mouth health
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hello SueY - Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review. Waterpik Water Flossers are designed for use in the bathroom and to have sound levels appropriate for the space. Specifically we design our products to have a sound level that is less than 70 dBA, Beyond 70 dBA we hear the sound of a toilet flush and most hair dryers are approaching 90 dBA.
Had a temporary crown put on, and have to wait 6 weeks for the permanent. Purchased this as an alternative to flossing during this time to help the temp stay on. Use on lowest power with warm water, seems to work well for my purposes.
This product works well but I find the water reservoir clumsy and difficult to fill/empty. It has nothing but smooth plastic and the entire bottom lifts when trying to lift it off the base. I would not recommend this model.
