Flawless since 1992!

Purchased first Waterpik flosser in 1992 when I had oral surgery, and adult braces. Total and complete effectiveness! My dentist marveled at my oral hygiene. He thought I was flossing, lol.
Forward to 2022, it's still the greatest tool for your long term health. I'm 59, still have all my teeth! Understand, I'm lazy, but Waterpik flossing is so easy, and effective. You get addicted to the great feeling too!
Left this review after superior warranty/customer service experience. The least I could do for this great company.

Design problems; Performance OK

Lid falls into reservoir which contaminates flosser water with dust and bathroom germs that collect on top of lid. Unsanitary. Lid needs a handle or knob -- something to grasp, especially since hands may be wet when using. The tips stored inside lid do not stay in their clips and when you lift lid by the edges, it opens (there is no clasp) and tips tumble out. Again, unsanitary. Needs a way to store excess electric cord so counter space is freed-up. Reservoir does not completely drain and yet also drips when filling it. Really do not like using this product, however, it is effective. WP should re-design this unit. I plan to replace it with another flosser. Would not buy it again.

In the past, I've used the cordless, stand alone water-flosser, but I really prefer using this type. There is a larger reservoir, and different flosser tips for general and specific needs. It's great for keeping everything organized and in one place, and very importantly, it's very easy to clean and dries completely, unlike the cordless type. The only negative for me is it's a bit noisy.

It is far less messy than I expected - super easy to use and my teeth feel incredibly clean . I wish I could have gotten one years ago. My next one may be the waterpik toothbrush it looks amazing too I definitely would suggest it for anyone who wants to get their teeth as clean as they possibly can be … it’s a wonderful product to have.

The only problem is how my shirt and sink area always get wet from the water coming out of my mouth, even if I’m bending over the sink. Pros outweigh the cons though!

This is the first time using a Waterpik. I am surprised by how much stuff comes out of my teeth after brushing them with an electric tooth brush for several minutes. My dental hygienist recommended that I start to use one to help prevent gum and teeth problems she said were starting. So I've been using it for about a month now prior to going to bed. We'll see what she thinks when I go back In December for my next cleaning.

The seal at the bottom of the tank began leaking within the first month. I was taking it off to refill it. I was able to get it to seal and now refill the tank with a cup and not take the tank off.
