My surgeon said I had to buy this to clean under my full-mouth, implanted dentures.
I have 3 complaints about the product:
1) The clear, plastic tips are hard and somewhat painful as they rub over the gums.
2) The plastic water tube is very stiffly coiled, and can lead to toppling the whole thing into your sink if stretched too far. That means you have to stay close to the unit to avoid tipping it over. The advantage is that it coils back into its pocket on the unit.
3) The lid does not have enough places to hold all the different tips that come with the unit. Furthermore, it is cumbersome and often falls into the tank. So I just leave it off. I would rather have a dedicated lid with a hinge rather than the combination lid and tip holder as it is today.
To sum it up: I would say that it "works", but I'm sure someone could improve on the design.

We appreciate your feedback. We recommend that you position the tip so that only the water touches the gum surface.

The product also comes with the Plaque Seeker tip, which has 3 thin tufts of bristles designed for use with implants. You might find this tip more comfortable to use.

Love how this gets out the debris between teeth and gums. Stimulates gums as well. Almost eliminates flossing but we still use floss for a complete cleaning.
