I have had this model before - this is my third one. It's the only water pick I can find in the stores. The first one I had to throw away - mold in the unit after using for awhile. The second one died after about 6 months. We will see how long this one will last.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Purchased this product at the recommendation of my doctor. I use it with an "Under the Gums Irrigant" to help disinfect the gums. Works well, cleans up easy, and is straight forward to use.

I have used a Waterpik product for years. I am very disappointed in the new design. The reservoir is too small. I have to add water throughout my cleaning to be able to do my entire mouth. Also, I have the dial up to 10 and the water jet does not seem as strong as my older model. If I can ever find one of the older products, I will go back to it. This one is not a winner in my opinion.
