My new dentist recommended getting a Water Pik. I admit I found it a little tricky to begin with and it takes up a lot of room on my counter top. I would prefer something more compact. However, it is definitely useful as it cleans where floss and toothbrush alone don't.

I bought this because my dentist recommended. My fear was that it would be too messy but I really have had no issues with that. I first thought I'd get the portable one because of that, but this has been excellent. Hoping my next check-up shows improved mouth health.
