I thought when I brushed my teeth properly and wrinshed enough times with water that I had cleaned everything out of my teeth area. Now when I use the waster-pick I found there were some particles of food that were still there that have flushed out and my gums seem to be tightening around my teeth. I will get a report on how good I am doing when I go my dentist in another month.
I had a Waterpik years ago, but when I moved it got damaged and it took me years to get another. I am so glad that I did. I had been having trouble brushing one particular sensitive area. My dentist told me to, 'stop brushing my teeth as though I were scrubbing pans', but it was really difficult to break that habit. Then I remembered the Waterpik, purchased it and have the clean, clean pain free mouth. My husband is surprisingly using it and told me he finds himself using it a few times a day. it is so worth it
I bought this a few weeks ago because I was having problems with food between crowns. This not only works much better than a proxa brush, but my gums are also much less tender after consistent use.
The water pik is a great tool to have for your oral care. It feel like I've had a deep cleaning after each use. I would definitely recommend this to everyone.
Eight years ago my dentist recommended a water flosser and after doing research I bought a Waterpik WP-100. I loved it, and have bought several since then, including for several friends who mentioned having problems flossing in tight spaces. Everyone is very pleased with how well they clean. I travel a lot so I also bought a portable, but the pressure didn’t work for me so I pack the big boy. Mine have lasted about 3 years. The motor is quite loud but I suppose that’s because it’s really quite powerful on the highest setting. Excellent product!
