I bought this WaterPik while recovering from multiple tooth extractions and replacements. The low setting(1-10) was soothing and gentle enough so as not to wash out the temporary crown replacements I'd experienced with the handheld unit with only one setting. After several deep cleanings, the higher setting has my permanent crowns and remaining natural teeth looking brand new, and gumbs healthy.
I think it works ok but it’s hard to use because you have to push the button to stop the water instead of push it to start the water. It doesn’t make sense. Why would you have to push the button to make the water stop? Anyway. That’s what’s messed up.

My dentist suggested this for my irritated gums and instantly I felt and saw the difference! I feel like I get a dental cleaning every time I brush now! Amaze!
I bought this a month ago, and just after one use I could see the difference. I thought my teeth were clean after just brushing but was amazed of the food particles that the waterpik cleaned out.
