First time using a water flosser. I've had it about 3 weeks. It functions as specified on the box. Is it worth it? Insufficient data. I may know in about 4 months when I next see the dentist. Above it asks for my overall rating and below it asks to rate the value of the product: I clicked the middle - insufficient data to rate at this early time. I don't recommend anything to anyone at any time. But in this case, I don't suggest that you to stay away either.
This is our second of this model. The first one was about seven years old and was used nearly everyday. We wouldn't use anything else. We have used Waterpik for years, this is our third one.
This product was recommended by my dental hygienist and dentist for gum health. It seems to working as it has reduces the amount of bleeding of my gums.
My mother had a water pik back in the 70s or 80s, but I didn't think to try one until just a week or two ago. It is excellent. At my Social Security age, I have to use an interdental brush to clean the debris from between my teeth every time I eat. The Waterpik does this task a hundred times better. It cleans the gaps and gets the stuff at the gumline. The multiple attachments and adjustable pressure settings make the a versatile tool. I liked it so much I had my wife try it and now we each have one.
