I purchased this product a few years ago when I began wearing braces as an adult during those 2 years I had no cavities and was very pleased with the numerous adapters. After a few years I had to purchase a new one and again decided to purchase the same product. Excellent waterpik, great job and price. Highly recommend

I'm so satisfied with this product. I get lazy to floss my teeth sometimes cause before using the regular flosser strips but when I got this product I've always been excited to floss. I never thought that flossing would be this easy and fun and on top of that it gives you a clean and healthy mouth (kind of satisfaction). I love it, even my boyfriend liked it and was convinced to get him own.

piece of junk: fell apart after less than 3 years

I bought this in about 2014 to replace a much older WaterPik that I had bought in 2003 (which I now regret replacing). This newer model is definitely substandard. The plastic is of MUCH poorer quality. Example: I had been using it less than normally, since I am often away. Even so, the handle that holds the flosser snapped off about a year ago (i.e. after about 2 years "light" use). Fine, I managed to rig up an elastic band to hold the flosser in place... But then last month, the hose snapped right off the bottom of the flosser. There is no way to repair this.
Re. its performance, there too I was disappointed: the older model had much stronger pressure.
I am intensely annoyed, not just at having to replace the entire unit after just three years, but also because of the waste I will be unwillingly causing! The last one, I was able to give away since it was still in good working order (after 11+ years!). This one is a piece of JUNK. I am going to try mailing it back to WaterPik in the hopes that they can at least recycle the parts. I will most definitely NOT be buying a WaterPik product again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My Dentist in Arizona recommended this as I have border line periodontics issues. Mostly 4's and 5's even though I flossed nightly and used a sonicare toothbrush twice daily. Now include using WaterPik twice daily and Listerine Mouthwash afterwards. I have been to two other dentists since then and each six month checkup has shown most pockets to be one and two's with only a few threes. I have no bleeding from cleanings. This has extended the time period between visits to the dentist. I love it.
