I bought this at my dental hygienist's recommendation. She recommended I start using some type of waterpik. I picked this one because of the water capacity and the number of tips. It works great. The water lasts for all my teeth.
The unit is too light and slides around when using it. Needs more weight and non slip feet to prevent it from sliding when adjusting or turning it on and off. The extra tips are stored above the water tank letting any left over water from them drip down into the water tank. Very unsanitary! The tank gasket leaks when you refill it. It drips all over. Needs better engineering and design.Works great on teeth but needs better design!
I purchased my unit about 3 years ago upon the recommendation of my dentist. Using Water Pik is much faster and more efficient that regular flossing. Water Pik gets below the gums whereas regular flossing cannot. There is nothing to "fray" and stay between your teeth AND, you are done in just over 1 minute whereas regular flossing takes quite a bit longer and less efficient.
