I bought this a month ago so my 14 year old grandson could get used to it. He was getting braces and much to my surprise, he loved the WaterPic. Braces are now ON and he is loving the ease of cleaning around the braces and he doesn't have to FLOSS!! Wonderful product.

This is my 4th WATERPIK since the early 70. The first 2 I simply wore out. The third did not last too long. This 4th. one I really like the features and the portable vacation PIK .

My periodontist recommended that I use a water pik every day. Have been using this model for a few years. Upon research, a dentist said to put the speed on about 5-6 so that is what I do now. I used to have it on max, 10, but the on line dentist said that it might affect the gums that high. I am happy on 5 or 6. My mouth always feels so clean after I use the water pik. It only takes two minutes. The issue is consistency - sometimes hard to do, but that's not the water pik's fault, LOL.
