Good but....switch backward. A dangerous design

I very much like the waterpik except for one very important design problem, the pressure switch is backwards. When you use the waterpik the pressure is on when you turn on the power switch. You need to press the switch to stop the water pressure to rinse and spit. I almost spray high pressure in my eye! Lucky I was wearing my glasses. Sometimes the pik slips out of my mouth, especially when doing the front teeth. Again I was lucky I was wearing my glasses. I have even taken to using safety glasses when using my water pik. The pressure switch should be PRESS=PRESSURE // OFF=OFF. The massage and cleaning are great. My dental exam was great. Definately good for your gums. But, this switch issue need to be fixed!
My last water pic was much larger. The only complaint I have is that it is hard to control water pressure. This means I get very wet, my counter is flooded. MY Demtist is happy about how good my gums and teeth look.
I would recommend this to a friend!
