I have owned a Waterpik for many years and finally decided to see what the new one was like. Wow! Not only is it more compact and nicer looking, but is houses the attachments, makes much less noise and has more speeds. I am really happy I updated.

I have faithfully been using the water pick at least once a day for about a month now. I'm still having trouble maneuvering the tip through my mouth and staying on the gum line. I find it hard to rotate the tip without hitting the button to release it. Also not sure of the purpose and how to use each of the varied tips (I've seen one video). Also, the cord keeps getting tangled and is hard to keep straight (I usually don't have a problem with that sort of thing). All that being said, I have noticed that areas along my gum line are no longer sore and my teeth have become less sensitive to the cold water. So in spite of my clumsiness I seem to be getting the job done--i.e. the removal of trapped food and placque (sp?). So, I'm thinking that with time I will develop finesse with using this product.

My daughter suggested getting the Waterpik. She wished we would have had it when she had braces. So easy to use. My husband even uses it, and he never wanted to floss before. (He thought a toothpick was good enough) I can't wait to go back to the dentist to see if he notices how much healthier our gums are, because they feel amazing! I wish I would have bought one years ago!
