I bought this product upon the recommendation of my dentist. Have been using for about three weeks now. The first time I used the item it seemed a bit awkward, but it didn't take long till I felt comfortable with it. This machine is excellent for people who have crowns and bridges. It cleans where a tooth brush, dental floss and proxa brushes cannot reach. During my last dental visit, I needed to have a procedure called scaling. Believe me, it was no fun and also very expensive. If this product prevents having that done again, I'm more than happy to use it.

I bought this for my 8 year old to use. She had a palate expander put in, and will get braces next. It works great to flush out all the food that accumulates in it. She is able to fill and operate this on her own. Very easy to use and seems to be good quality.

For the first time in 56 years I had to have some dental work in my upper teeth, however I was not aware that along with dental work comes the difficulty keeping it clean and particle free. I was planning to return to the dentist to help me with the pain and discomfort from food particles in areas my toothbrush or floss would not work. I decided to try the WaterPik (purchased at Costco) first. And to my amazement and surprise the pain and discomfort was cleared up in a few days saving another trip to the dentist. I bought this one to replace my old one that I used for over 10 years. It is just like my old one in the using factor, and I wanted it to have a strong output, because that was what I was used to. You can control the stream to a lesser strength also. All in all it is just what I wanted, and for a good price. Also, the shape is a little more streamlined, which helps when it is being stored and not used.
