I bought the water pik because I had two transplants and when I went to the dentist, she said I had bacteria around them. My flossing was taking care of the rest of my teeth, but not them. I can see and feel the difference since I got my water pik.
Works great however very noisy pump. Even with bathroom door closed it wakes my wife.
I would recommend this to a friend!

bad switch

I just bought another of this model because the one I had, the switch stopped working completely. This is after about 3 years of use. After about a year, the switch wouldn't turn off, so to turn it off, I had to unplug it (and to turn it on, had to plug it in). I had lost my receipt so couldn't prove date of purchase so didn't try to return it. Keep you receipt and don't expect real quality. So why did I buy another of the same kind? I'll give it a second chance and this time, I will send it in if/when the switch goes out. Oh, you do get a fancy case with an abundance of tips, most of which you'll never use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
