We are sorry that you are not completely happy with the product. It is a motor driven appliance and as with other many other common household motor driven appliances, some noise is normal.

We really like our new Waterpik, it does a very good job of getting in between our teeth cleaned. We have used the battery operated ones before, but this one is much better. We would recommend this unit as we think it works really good and is a good buy. It is a little noisy but that doesn't really bother us.
