Another convenient tool by Dewalt

The tool is an 18 gage cordless 20V brad nailer. For years I have been using an air-nailer which requires an air compressor and long hoses, which is most inconvenient on jobs. Now I have the 20V nailer and its so easy and portable. Power is fantastic and loved it so much I bought one for my son. Great tool.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very useful tool to have, especially when I’m on jobs that do not have power(electricity) up and running yet. Having used it on different types of job, from cabinetry builds to full home trim outs. Noticed it begins to get heavy. I like to use the 5ah battery so yes that’s to blame. But even after a while with the 2ah battery and installing crown molding and having to hold that tool horizontally get exhausting. PLEASE PLEASE make ATOMIC smaller version of this! I’ll be the first to buy one

Many thoughtful features but bad balance and grind

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] More convenient/portable than my air nailer, consistent nailing depth, thoughtful design for clearing jams and including extra tips. My kit came w/ bag, charger, and 2Ah battery (light).
I've wanted a cordless brad nailer for a long time, but was disappointed in the size and balance. I feel the weight would be bearable if it was better balanced.
Right out of the box it was making a noise - a bad internal grinding sound, intermittently. I opened it up and found wires rubbing against the motor, which I bent out of the way. When testing, I found the housing assembly had a lot of flex which allowed the wire to get pushed against the motor. Again, I feel because the balance of the tool puts the COG above the hand, that's contributing to the flex of the body. Overall the tool under delivers to expectations.

Fantastic Nail Gun

I've had this nail gun for a little over a year and have never had an issue with it jamming. A little heavy is my only suggestion. But the power and dependability on this gun is worth the extra weight and size.
