Our dog loves it BUT . . . . .

We bought this for our young Boxer. She loves to play with it but in just a very short period, the seams ripped open. I wish the seams were located in a less conspicuous spot. She is only allowed to play with it under our supervision. I have since tried to sew it up with no lasting success. The seams being were they are are prime for being torn open. I will not replace it once we throw it away for this reason. I feel it's a design flaw.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not durable

My dog is an 8 mos old German Shepard, service dog. We bought this toy because it said it was durable. She loves this toy and I'm so disappointed it hasn't lasted. We have had this toy for 2 weeks and it had come apart.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lots of fun... but

Our bull dog loves this ball. Likes to chase it through the snow, latch on to it, and bring it back. Unfortunately it just didn't last as long as we hoped it would of.

For a longer-lasting toy, we recommend supervising your dog while in play and removing it once it is not being used properly. We do know every dog plays differently and are working on ways to make this toy more durable for our chewers. Poor Stitching

I purchased this about 2 weeks ago and the stitching came apart within a week, this is not normal as we have purchased 2 others and they lasted over a year.

Not up to usual ChuckIt! standards

Sophie loves all of her Chuckit toys (esp the Flying Squirrel), but I had to take her Kick Fetch away when the blue part began breaking down. It's hard to describe precisely, but it seems to have gotten soft and gooey, almost like semi-cured gum under a bench. No idea what the blue stuff is made of, but I can tell you it is sticky and won't wash off your fingers with just soap.
Thank goodness her only interest is in fetching - if she was a chewer she'd have a digestive tract full of that stuff. Teeth punctures in canvas are excusable. This is simply unacceptable for a product designed and intended for mouths.

BTW, this ball has been well-maintained - I always hose if off after play and store it a watertight deck box. It has never been left out in the weather or exposed to any chemicals or cleaners.

Glow in the dark

I bought the glow in the dark kick fetch ball for my 7 month old puppy. I bought it to use as play time for training. I like the features but she already has it punctured. I thought this would be a tougher ball.

I bought the Chuckit Kick Fetch last fall.
My dog loves it... But the seams are coming apart.. Is there a warranty for this?
It is not a tear, but stiching is coming out and exposing the inside.

The toy looked good In the package

I bought this toy a half hour ago. It took me longer to write this review then it was for my two year old dog to chew it up. This would make a great toy for a 15 year old dog with no teeth.
