I loved this set only thing I don’t like is I wish it had 8 reindeer but that is all otherwise awesome set I will display this every Christmas in my living room for sure. I bought two sets so that I could make it into an 8 reindeer slay set then.

Finally a large sleigh for Santa to go around in. Would have been better if they included Rudolf or even all his reindeer since he has more than just 4.

Awesome Build that needs some Quality Control

I was ecstatic that I was able to find this set when I visited the Lego store. The build for the sleigh was extremely fun especially when it came time to add the gifts. The Santa minifigure is an excellent addition but the reindeer were a bit of a letdown. The space in their backs where you connect them to the sleigh is not square so it leaves really odd looking gaps. I’ve had Lego horses and other animal from the 90s to present and have never had this issue before. I wish Lego would have addressed this since they are one of the selling points of the set.

Great Lego set, but...

This is a great kit and looks good with any of the other Christmas sets, except that Santa in this kit look so small. It is unbelievable that he belongs in the sleigh. Maybe if he was the size of Hagrid from the Harry Potter kits, I would believe that Santa belonged on the sleigh. Santa is just too small but i would buy this kit again as the sleigh and reindeer are perfect.

Need to buy two

Overall, this is a great Christmas themed set as it is the first to really focus entirely on the reindeer and sleigh setup. With the molded deer, this works really well. I have read the reviews insisting that 2 sets are needed for 8 reindeer and I must concur. I would not recommend Bricks and Pieces because you also need the bricks for the harnesses as well as the nougat fillers. There are also stickers that go with the reindeer. By the time you order what you need separately, you might as well have bought another set anyway.
There is one complaint: the instruction book and sticker sheet was both crumpled in the box. I wish a little bit more care was taken in the packaging to ensure a manual and sticker sheet in good condition.
Besides adding four more reindeer, I made one more modification that you might spot in the photo. It is a good set, and will hopefully come back in stock for those who really want to enhance a Christmas display.

Neat addition to any Christmas village or scene. Thank you for putting out more reindeer and a nice playable sleigh.
I bought two sets and had one reindeer from the Elf Club House to complete Santa’s reindeer team. I attached translucent red PLATE 1X1 ROUND for Rudolph’s nose with modeling clay.
