Love the threading ease and auto bobbin take up.

I like an awful lot more than that but I was surprised how many people say they have issues with both.
The machine does the hard part of threading, you just pull the small loop it pokes through the rest of the way.
The bobbin, you load it, remembering to put it through the tension 'arm' you don't put it in the cutter section. Throw a bit of scrap under your foot and it feeds the bobbin thread through.
Other things I like. It has all the stitches most people need, a good range of feet that come with it, lots of clear instructions plus videos and written guides (e.g. a guide to the stitch symbols is online). Is it the best advanced sewist machine around, probably not. Is it great for lots of people, especially new sewists, yes.

Works amazingly!

I’ve been able to see up my dogs ripped toys, an entire quilt, and simple tears in clothing with ease. I was never big into sewing but this machine has made it a lot smoother process. Definitely something I’ll keep in my home for a long time!

Great Brother Sewing Machine

This is a awesome sewing machine for the price! I wanted a sewing machine so that I could start sewing different things for my kids instead of always asking my mother! I feel this machine is easy to use, especially for personal and fun use. It's also not as loud as I though it would be! Threading the needle and bobbin is so easy and quick to figure out. If you are someone who is doing basic sewing projects, this is an ideal sewing machine for you. I highly recommend it!

Auto back stitch feature

I love my Brother. On the automatic back stitch you must start and end your piece with the back stitch option because if you chain the next piece you do won't back stitch.

I’ve had this for a year and been very happy with it. I’ve used it with knits, for quilting and it’s never let me down. The feet that come with it have also been a lifesaver

New to sewing and started on an antique Singer. I purchased this machine out of frustration and have never looked back. This machine has so many great features that it has made sewing fun. I like the layout, the ease of operation, and the simple, easy to follow guides. It comes with a generous "get started" assortment of feet and other basic supplies. I have recommended this model to others who have purchased it as well. Buy one, you wont be sorry.

Great for beginners

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the brother CS 7000 X computerized a sewing and quilting machine which already has a 70 built-in stitches and an LCD display and it comes with a white table with 10 included feet. The machine is very fancy but also really easy to use. I was able to set it up right away and start using it to fix some of my throw pillows and the edges of some blankets. If you want to quilt there is also a quilt setting on it and you will be impressed and how fast you can learn how to sell. It is very easy and I definitely recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm basically a casual sewer, I do it as a hobby, trying to create my own pieces or himming, or fixing something for somebody else. I will say after using this machine I do like it. I got it because i wanted to make my own quilt like really bad. I did notice this machine sometimes has a tension problem as well as working with thicker fabrics. I can deal with that. The machine itself is lightweight and easy to use
