Great tool for keeping my teeth and gums in good

Love my new WaterPik. I replaced an older model and this one has more pressure and seems to do a better job of cleaning. Very quiet compared to my old one and not as bulky.

As a 63 year old using this for the first time was a bit strange but in a good way. I have receeding gums and should have used this years ago. I'm tone deaf so when it beeps to tell me to move to a different quadrant I don't hear it. You can't look over at the unit and watch the display because you need to keep your mouth pointed down at the sink. I just glance at the water level dropping and guess when it's time to change quads. I did have some bleeding as the unit changes the power automatically but i just dialed it back to a lower pressure level. I only have used warm water in it and wipe it out after each use because we have hard water.

The waterpik pro max works better than the last water pick I had. I got the plug in to avoid overheating and then a refusal to take a charge after 3 months of having it. I have noticed that while using the water pik my allergies are less severe and any tooth or gum issues go away.

1) It is more quiet than the previous Waterpiks that I've owned.
2) The magnet on the handle makes it easier to put back after using.
3) Previous Waterpiks lasted a long time, so I expect this one to do the same.

1) I would like more pressure than it is offering.
2) High-priced for the improvements it provides. I had considered returning it and instead buying the model that is more like the one I had had before. Decided that the return was not worth the effort.
