It's a very neat idea, but the implementation leaves much to be desired.
The colors you can get on the waves are extremely limited. And it seems as though Green is the only option for the color of the stars, which is hard to believe.
If that's incorrect, then the app needs a rework, because I tried for a long time to find out how to get the effects/colors that I wanted, and it seems that there's just no way.
