Fantastic for relaxing and letting go of your thoughts. We turn on the sound machine and watch the aurora at night to help us get to sleep. Does precisely what I had hoped! Great way to focus on something other than thoughts about work, etc.
Received the Star Bright today and I’m shocked that something today with a laser feature would only produce one color, green. Really? If youre going to pick one color at least pick the actual color of the item or feature you are replicating. Very disappointed, especially since this is my third Govee product purchase.
I love the light. The best projector of this kind I’ve ever seen. There is one flaw. The noise from the motor is louder than I’d like. This can be annoying if you use this light to sleep. I have Alexa play a sleep music station and this covers most of the noise
I have used this many nights since I got it about a month ago. The lights are beautiful, however the laser has begun clicking about 3 weeks in. This is different, harsher, and much louder, than the soft motor noise when the lights are moving. This annoying clicking noise is still very audible when sounds/music is on, which do successfully cover the soft motor noise. The clicking is faster the faster the star lasers are on, and stops when they are off or stopped.
So when I say I was excited to get this, I totally was. However, after soon getting the light projector, I noticed how loud the motors were while I had this in my bedroom for sleep. I tried without the moving lights, but that's the whole purpose right? I tried it a few more times and just could not sleep well. Better testing should have been done before this even left for the market. Such a shame too, it looked cool... Just way to loud to be relaxing.
The projector has a great wide area of projection, it nearly fills my whole ceiling. The colors are bright and bold in a dark room. My only complaint is it is loud, especially when the stars are projected. You can hear the motor from across the room if it is quiet in the house. I typically have to use the operation mode to keep the stars turned off while only using the aurora projection to cut down on the noise.
