The light from the unit itself is kinda blinding when looking at the lens. Nothing that can really be done about it, just stating a fact. I was hoping to place it on the floor but soon realized anything in front of it will block the light from reaching the ceiling. Like if you want to place it discretely behind a plant, or a table and/or chair end up being in the path.

I have bought so many different projectors. This one is great. It covers more of the room, easy to change the colors. I would wait for it to go on sale though.

My wife likes these types of lights in our room, and we have typically used the cheaper ones found online with mixed results. Since our house is filled with Govee lights, this was an instant-buy when I saw it was available. Setup was easy and I had it ready in just a few minutes. It's very bright and can be seen even when other lights are on in the room. It has a good variety of scenes, and you are able to adjust several properties of the light. We are really happy with it. The only slight complaint I have is the wi-fi can be a bit wonky at times.

This machine is big and bulky. It also blinds you with the main projector light where it’s placed. I’ve moved it around but it’s still in my face. The different scenes are not much different than each other. I rarely use it.
