[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the PIC - Portable Insect Killer Lantern and immediately put it to use. We have a lot of bromelaid plants in our back yard and they require that you fill the center with water. This in turn brings the mosquitoes as well. We put the lantern right above the tree where the bromelaids are. Next morning we had no mosquitoes! Works nicely.

Perfect for my apartment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted something to hang outside my apartment as nats and flys can get bad. Also with mosquitos getting bad I thought this would help. So far I haven’t had any issues with the flys and have seen a decrease in nats.

Sturdy design with simple functions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As we approach spring, we approach camping season, and this bug zapper lantern is perfect for my camping supplies! The functions are SUPER simple (in the best of ways), with one button... Press once to turn on a soft, flickering candle-like glow, and press again for a brighter white light for nighttime campsite needs. Either of these two light functions activate the bug zapper, and a third click of the button turns the unit off.
What is even better is that this lantern operates on solar power… no electricity or batteries needed, and the only charging that needs to be done is via sunshine. Thrilled to add this to my camping pack list.
The design is “sporty,” in the shape of a capsule, with a handle for hanging or carrying. The bugs aren’t out just yet, but I am prepared when they start!

Zapping at its Best

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I say versatility, the Portable Insect Killer Lantern is all of that! Being solar powered is one of thing. Being able to carry it from o and area to another is heavenly. The back of thee yard backs up to woods. You know the story. Where there are woods, there’s bound to be bugs and different insects. They have a right to live, but not in my personal outdoor space when o am entertaining. Not only does the Killer Insect Lantern kill insects, it also provide that light you need for an evening event. I will be purchasing these for gifts for my family’s gift bags when they visit.

Great idea

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Portable Insect Killer, is a great concept. But my charge does not last very long. I even have it placed in direct sunlight for charging. And checked on it after 1 hr and it was off. I would love to see this improves because the concept is great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The solar charge aspect of this lantern is excellent for camping or other outdoor activities where electricity is not available. It is also nice not to have to remember to bring or change batteries. It functions as a great bug zapper too - excellent bug control in the outdoors and easy to carry with you!

We place it close to where we are sitting in the evenings are able to enjoy our outside time without the annoyance of the flying pests. It makes our outside time so much more enjoyable and works great.

Versatile

The last time we used it, we had a picnic and we were not bothered by any type of insect. Apart from its function of killing insects, it is a lamp with a beautiful design that you can use to decorate the space, to add a romantic ambiance to your table using the option of UV/Zapper/Flame effect or simply to illuminate the room with the Zapper/White Led Lantern option. It is a very versatile product, easy to use, pleasing to the eye, solar, weatherproof, for indoor and outdoor use and easy to carry from one place to another.
