Convenient in the summer time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Houseflies are the bane of my existence. I am always having them swarm into my house every time we have a barbeque, or the kids are running in and out of the house. I left this lantern on the table right near my front door and noticed very quickly that the flies were much less of an issue. In the evening when the lantern stayed on, the remaining flies were all captured. This is a great thing to have if you are like me and just cannot stand having bugs in the house.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not good at attracting mosquitos

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll start with the compliments. This is a cool looking lantern at night. The flame effect looks pretty realistic. The white light is good in a small area, but not bright enough to illuminate more than its immediate area. The solar charging works and the run time is several hours long. With that being said, I think most people would invest in this to kill mosquitos and for that reason, this is not a product worth recommending. There is a removable bug collector on the bottom that never has more than a few bugs after using it each night. The bugs that it does kill are mostly small moths. This lantern will kill bugs that are attracted to light, but because the lights are LED, I'm guessing that they don't produce enough heat to attract heat-seeking bugs like mosquitoes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great big zapper!

Definitely a must have if you don’t want too many bugs around. It do work at catching the insects when outdoors. I wish this was indoor use as well! Super light weight and durable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pest zapper could not have come at a better time. Trying to enjoy these chilly Florida nights can get annoying with flying insects. This zapper works so well and I love that it is easy to use and very lightweight. The fact that it is also a lantern is a plus. I love that it is also solar so it charges fast with the sun.
