Best multitool available, by far. In fact, I have three of them, for redundancy and security
1 great thing is that you can change out some of the tools. I added scissors and got rid of the short flat head and the V-cutter. You will need some hex bits and lock tite to accomplish this change.
The power assist knives are fantastic. I like having the serrated one for cutting 550 cord, and the plain blade for whittling if needed
Only downside of this multitool is that the pivotting tool cover pops off sometimes, and I am afraid I will loose it. Also I lent the tool to some friends and they snapped the tip with misuse.
I am hoping that SOG can help me repair the tool with their warranty, but I will report their service another time. Overall fantastic tool, I use it everyday and it holds up well.

I probably use this more than any other knife it is perfect for so many tasks. I’m so happy to find a reliable multi tool. I probably use this at least twice everyday sometimes a lot more for a million reasons. I would recommend this to anyone. Great work tool

Deploys 1-handed like a balisong (knife). Pliers get used most. 2nd are the various screwdrivers as needed. Have cut enough cables and metal banding (pallet straps etc.) to prove that tool.

Looking at my third Powerassist now, with knife blade past sharpening point. Great tools, and I have tried several times to swap out blades and tools to build the best version for me- wish it were easier! Tool is the best I have found yet for what I do, just hard to replace or customize options with tiny washers and bolts holding it together. Craftsmen, carpenter, and mechanic, it is the best tool I have owned for 15 of the 30 years I have carried, just wish the knife were easier to replace, and the lock mechanism a bit more consistent when you really need to go with your other hand. Post on knife blade works- just gets in the way of sharpening, the takedown button next to the lock slide sometimes opens the blade partially at the wrong time in your hand. All three of the tools lost at least one tool cover along the way making the handles uncomfortable when crimping- plus when you do have them they are hard to open to get at the tools. I often have to pull out all of the tools to select the one I want so they all don't lock open, but the lock works well. Two of the nylon pouches tore in the second year, but velcro has never failed- which is amazing since I use the tool 15-20 times a day easy. All in all worth it, just wish you could snap in replacement blades in a better fashion once they get to the soft steel- also if they has a slightly larger version I would pick one up in a heartbeat for a 4 inch knife and more compound action. Thanks for saving my butt so many times SOG! I folded my 1 gen Leatherman on one of my fingers, found the Gerber clunky and short, have even had some military-style breakdown multitools, but none as good. Look forward to the new model's appearance.

Fantastic EDC and best fidget toy ever! You can open the pliers like a butterfly knife, and the assisted open blades are satisfying to deploy. I superglued the "lock closed" feature so the blades always deploy when I push the thumb stud. The nose on these pliers is the best I've ever used. I'd rate this right up there with a Leatherman Wave, which was my favorite before I got this. The assisted gears give you a powerful grip, and the little flat head screwdrivers and can opener prove very useful at unfolding sheet metal. The main blade holds an edge and the v-cut works great at cutting jet-line and paracord.

I have used this tool for about one month and it is great. It is easier to use than my previous Leatherman. It is very easy to open and use. The spring loaded blades are great to use. This is a very functional tool and worth all the money.
